U večno crni, duboki svemir
pala je nada i mladost sveta
i klizeći u propast i nemir
mrtva zvezda na kraju svog leta
najjače sinu,
visoko vinu
oreol svog nestalog sjaja
zgasnula svetlost večito traja
ko sećanje na poslednji zrak
čist kao vatra pročišćenja
pre nego što sve proguta mrak.
U večno gladni, duboki kosmos
čije je kapije čuvao Kos
pao je Koled krvlju obliven
suton ga uze, od sveta skriven
da bdi u mraku trošeć eone.
Besmrtnom suštinom traje slavljen
jedino svojim krajem jer njegova smrt je rodila
cara neba - Jarila!
